Craig D. Olson, Psy.D.

Our practice has enjoyed and benefited from the interaction of many people who have chosen to be clients since 1992.  As a psychologist, Dr. Olson has extensive experience evaluating and treating children, adolescents and adults.  At present, our practice includes children, adolescents, families as well as adults, and couples.  Many of our clients are referred by people who have been or are current clients, and by medical doctors.  If necessary, we work closely with a number of trusted psychiatrists or pediatricians in the Dayton area to provide coordination of treatment.  Our goal is to provide compassionate care through a collaborative process that leads to a deep understanding of each person’s inner feelings and needs.  The welfare of each person is our primary concern.

Dr. Olson’s psychological evaluation treatment includes typically one to three evaluation sessions (including testing, if needed), mutually agreed-upon goals and treatment plans, and psychological treatment aimed at finding healthy solutions that will enhance your life and relationships.

Hello.  My name is Craig Olson.  I appreciate the opportunity to share some information about myself.  I was raised in the area of Dayton, Ohio and continue to reside in the greater Dayton area with my wife and two children.

My education has included attending the University of Cincinnati and Wright State University.  I graduated with my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Wright State University’s School of Professional Psychology (SOPP) in 1990.

In 1991, after a one year internship with a group practice, I earned my license as a Clinical Psychologist. After licensure, I continued with a group practice until 1992.  Then, in 1992, I began my own private practice.

Since 1992, I have had the privilege of working with many individuals in my private practice.  I have been fortunate to benefit from excellent training at SOPP and to receive excellent supervision and training in my graduate and post graduate residencies in working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples.  I have continued my training and growth by attending seminars and from the many wonderful people with whom my work has enabled me to have contact.  I have been fortunate to work with many individuals, couples, and families and to experience with them their growth, fulfillment, and continued happiness.  I value each person and look forward to helping you.
